BOON REQUESTS

Hey fairybroskis! You know what time it is? Boon time!

Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!

Wherever Shardbearer characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"

2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"

3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th APRIL (00:01am LONDON GMT; we've extended it a day!) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss!

For this boon period, your character gets a boon if they have a minimum of 1000 words written for BOTH events, either as a narrative or threaded, of the harps playing their songs (smashing not required!) and if they took part in defrosting.

Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in this event period: only actual participation (not referenced participation) will warrant a boon. As a reminder, quest logs are no longer eligible, increased wordcount or not, and participation in both events is required for boon eligibility!

BOON REQUEST: A Golden Hound transformation! Waterwalking might also be nifty for getting around his favored Leathann.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Just the transformation all by itself is fine if letting it waterwalk is too OP, just though it would be a nifty addition. Otherwise, if that's not feasible, a means of teleporting around places (like previously visited ones) would be useful.

BOON REQUEST: A new 'sense' to make up for his lost arm.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Diarmuid himself never is very good at being specific about these things, but what I have in mind is a transformation that will allow him to become a hawk or maybe a kite? (Look! It has his eye color! LOL!) As a little kid he always wanted to be able to fly and this will allow him a chance to do that. Plus it will allow him to better see the field of battle before joining it. (Hence the extra sense.) Alternatively, if the transformation is too much, maybe he can see through the eyes of and communicate with his goshawk, Ogma?

BOON REQUEST: Because Chloe intends to treasure hunt the crap outta this world when the timeskip hits, she could use something to carry all that (hopefully) treasure in. Not something impossible to carry around for a lady, though, so essentially, a bottomless bag that can be easily slung over her shoulder and weigh very little. This will let her plunder to her little heart's content.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: I can't think of anything else I want, and I'd really like Excalibur not to be powered down (well, no more than it is in Heaven's Feel Route since new canon recently given to us has made it like ZOMG powerful for when the time is right when aliens attack the planet or something that's ridiculous) given using it in Excaliblast form (as opposed to Vortigen form) is a huge decision for her that she doesn't make lightly.

BOON REQUEST: Something to make her stronger and better able to protect not just the people that she has sworn to, or the people under her delegation, but her friends, too. She wants to be able to take care of them and she knows that her own magic isn't enough, so something to give her that strength to make her capable of doing it so that no one else has to die for her.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Otherwise, she would like a pensive so that she can share the memories she gave Remus for Christmas and keep other useful information inside of it! If none of these work wildcard is awesome and her previous boons are right here.

SO THIS IS LAME??? Alice would like to request a smithing hammer made of the same steel as the vorpal blade and similar etchings on it. As a refresher, the vorpal blade is "swift and keen, always ready for service", meaning that the knife can cut through almost anything. Usually, I say it cannot go through mountains, stone, or really thick steel. Running with that idea, Alice is requesting a vorpal hammer, with the ability to almost strike anything. Basically, if the vorpal blade was a blunt weapon /)_(\

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: He's made some sinking old temple ruins in Boglach his new lair, but, you know, it is still in a swamp. Some way to protect it and his hoard while he's away, something that makes it a nicer place (for a dragon, anyway), maybe a cool addition to the pile of loot he's working on amassing; basically a "pimp my ride" only instead of a car it's a swampy dragon lair. Though if something in Boglach is out of their reach, go ahead and wildcard him.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: 1) A WAY FOR REMUS TO TEACH HARRY POTTER MAGIC TO OTHERS. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not certain that at the moment as magic works in the game that this is possible? From what I understand, any character is able to learn native magic, but because HP magic is a canon ability that would not be the case. IF this is already possible and/or the mods would prefer such a thing not be possible, perhaps we could go the route of; 2) Providing Remus with the means to teach magic at the Citadel and/or possibly the instruction of what the monarchs themselves would like the shardbearers of the Seelie court to be learning, if given the choice?
